Wounded Man

Joesph Steamer street artist turned robber, ‘Godfather’ to his ‘Rats’ tells of his life ‘On Road’ and how the life process has wounded him forever. His inner feelings are revealed to us from the edge of madness brought about by the environment he inhabits. Drugs, Firearms, Robbery, Kidnappings, Killings, Prison, Music and Art. We see locations where some of his close allies have leff this life through violence or accident. from the creative to the destructive and almost back again. This is the story of a man who started out wanting to be creative in his negative environment by changing the way that environment looks. Tagger, Graffiti artist Joesph Steamer came up against the authorities by per forming his public art. The system that punished him for that art helped turn him into a hardend criminal. 'S' as he is referred to in the documentary talks of that journey and his struggle to legitamise his life. He signs out this first of two parts spray painting a memorial for an accidental death. Leaving the viewer wanting more details of his extraordinary and adventurous life.
